Select Features that Intersect Areas

Select > Features > Intersecting the Selected Areas

Select all features that intersect a selected area feature, such as a land area or depth area. Features that are fully inside or which touch or cross the boundaries of the area are selected.

Procedure

1. Make a layer active.

2. Select one or more areas.

3. Select the Select Features that Intersect Areas command.

A new selection is created. It contains all features that are fully inside the selected areas or which touch or cross the boundaries of the selected areas.
