Atlas SURF format, as stored in .sda/.six files, can store single beam, multibeam and side scan data.
Interface
Options for converting Atlas Surf data to HIPS are displayed in this dialog box.
Option | Description |
Convert Bathymetry | 1. Select the type of SURF bathymetry data to convert. The default is multibeam. |
Convert Side Scan | 1. Select the check box to convert side scan data. |
For dual beam data higher frequency sounding is primary sounding | 1. Select the check box to use higher frequency soundings as primary for single beam data. |
Procedure
1. Select the bathymetry type to be converted from the list.
2. Set other options.
3. Click Next to continue the conversion process.
