The New Line From Existing Points command is used to create a line from a selection of existing points. Two or more point features must be available to create a line.

Interface
The New Line from Existing Points command uses the following dialog box.

Option | Description |
Select two or more points | The existing points from which to create the new line. 1. Press and hold the <Ctrl> key, then click the desired points in the list. |
Only selected items | Enable this option to limit the list of available points to only the points that were selected when the command was launched. |
Procedure
1. Select the (New Feature, Line) From Existing Points command.
The New Line dialog box is displayed.
2. Select the points to include in the new line.
3. Click OK.
The new line is drawn in the Display window.
