Example

To use this command, refer to the following example.

Example

Objective

To compute the position of a towfish from a ship’s navigation data.

Description

Command Line Syntax

The gyro data will be smoothed.

--smooth-sensor GYRO

The position of existing contacts will be recomputed using new navigation data.

--recompute-contact-positions

The input file is named input.hips and is located at C:\temp\input\. The HIPS file URI filters for the vessel named “sample” and day 2000-001.

C:\temp\input\

Command Line

carisbatch --run ComputeSIPSTowfishNavigation --smooth-sensor GYRO --recompute-contact-positions file:///C:/temp/input/input.hips?Vessel=sample;Day=2000-001
