Objects can be manually set to offline by a user, or automatically set to offline by the application if the creation procedure did not complete successfully. Creation can be stopped by the user, or by the application if an error occurs.
Objects set with a status of offline are only available if you have a query applied that includes offline data. See New Query for more information. When accessible, offline objects can be drawn, selected, deleted or set to online.
Procedure
Set the status of the currently selected or superselected online features to offline.
1. In the Layers window, choose an open database.
2. From the database chosen, select a query layer with a default Object state of Online.
3. Select one or more objects from the layer.
4. Select the appropriate (Set Offline) Superselection or Selection command.
The selected objects are set to offline (no longer displayed in online query layers).
