Menu | Tools > Designated Soundings > Remove > Superselection/Selection |
Designated soundings selected in the 2D view may need to have their flags changed after they have been assigned. If this is the case, the Remove command can be used to remove the soundings from the Designated layer.
When selecting soundings, you can select individual soundings, or a group of soundings; all items included in the selection will have the Designated flag removed and will be removed from the Designated layer. The appropriate command must be used based on the number of soundings selected.

Procedure
1. Select the Designated layer in the Layers window.
2. Select the sounding you want to remove in the Display window.
3. Select the Remove Designated Sounding command.
The sounding is removed from the Display window and the Designated layer. If this was the only designated sounding in the surface, the layer would also be removed from the Layers window.
The sounding is not removed from the point cloud completely, only from the Designated layer. You can still select the sounding if you have another layer selected. |
