New Line From a Superselection

Import line or polygon geometries from a superselected feature as reference model lines.

1. Select a feature layer in the Layers window.

2. Select the source feature in the Display window.

3. Select the (New Feature, Line) Superselection command.

Each segment of the superselected feature is imported as a reference model line and a message is displayed in the Output window. The new lines are added to the Lines group in the Model window. The default naming convention for creating lines is used.
