Procedure
1. Select the S-57 Catalogue command.
The S-57 Catalogue is displayed in a browser window.
This window is divided into four frames:
• The top horizontal frame contains an index to object and attribute acronyms.
• The left column displays an alphabetical list of acronyms.
• The middle column displays object information.
• The right column displays attribute information.
To look up information in the catalogue:
2. Select a letter from the Object Acronym or Attribute Acronym index in the top frame.
A list of acronyms is displayed in the left column.
3. Select an acronym.
Associated information is displayed in the middle column.
4. Select an attribute link in the middle column.
Associated information is displayed in the right column.
Some attribute information contains links.
If there is an Expected Input table:
5. Click a link in the Meaning column.
The associated definition is displayed.
If there is an Object Class link at the bottom of the column:
6. Click Object Class.
The object classes to which the attribute belongs are displayed.
