Ungroup Datasets

Dataset groups can be changed or deleted if needed. Both procedures are explained below.

Procedure: Remove Dataset from Group

To remove a single dataset from a group:

1. Expand the Sources layer of a group.

2. Select a dataset under the Sources layer.

3. Right-click and select the None command.

 

Pop-up

dataset source > Group > None

The dataset is removed from the group.

If all datasets are removed from a group, the group will automatically be closed.

Procedure: Ungroup Datasets

If a group is no longer required, it can be deleted and all datasets returned to their normal display.

1. Select the root layer of a group in the Layers window.

2. Right-click the group and select the Ungroup command.

 

Pop-up

group > Ungroup

The group is deleted.
