Advanced mode is an extension of the Standard mode of sediment analysis and displays more parameters. This analysis compares the grain size from the data to the values on a customizable look-up table. (See Grain Size Table.)
(The Advanced Mode is likely to be of more interest to users doing scientific research rather than processing a workflow.)
1. Highlight a sediment analysis patch.
2. Select Advanced from the Display field.
3. Select Sediment Data from the list in the Source field in the Sediment Analysis Editor control window.
4. Click Analyze.
The sediment analysis results for that patch are displayed in the Results field. The input parameters for the results are shown in the Parameters fields. These values are read-only.
