SVP Editor is a separate program that is launched from HIPS and SIPS. It can be used to create a new or edit an existing sound velocity profile before it is loaded and applied during sound velocity correction. See SVP Editor.

To apply sound velocity correction, see Sound Velocity Correction (using CARIS Algorithm or Kongsberg.

Procedure

To open SVP Editor:

1. Select an SVP Editor command.

 

HIPS SVP Editor is displayed.

For information on creating and editing sound velocity profiles, press F1 within SVP Editor.
