Edit Profile

If a Profiles layer is present in the Layers window, the profile lines on the layer can be edited. Profile lines are edited in the same manner as other line features. The vertices in the line can be moved or deleted and new vertices can be added.

While in edit mode, a pop-up menu is also available for the profile line that provides additional editing tools. See Feature Editing Basics for information on digitizing/editing tools.

Procedure

1. Select the Profiles layer in the Layers window.

2. Select a profile line in the Display window.

3. Select the Edit Profile command.

The line is placed in edit mode.

4. Make any necessary edits to the line.

5. Select the Edit Profile command to turn off edit mode.

The profile line is edited.
