The object acronyms and attributes available for database surfaces is controlled by pool and profile catalogue files. These files are in XML format and can be uploaded to and downloaded from BDB Server via the Upload Catalogue and Download Catalogue commands in the Administration Tools. These files can be edited as needed to meet the needs of your data.
The default catalogue files used by BDB Server, located in the System directory, are:
• BathyServerUserPool.xml: This file contains user definable attributes and attribute values. These attribute definitions can be changed and applied to a database.
• BathyServerProfile.xml: This file contains the user definable profile that enables attributes and attribute values, and defines mandatory attributes, associated controls, and relationships.
To change the default files used by the application, you must change the BathyObjectPool and BathyObjectProfile variables in the Environment Settings tab of the Administration tools.
