The Digitize Circle commands can be used when you create a line or area.

Circle Using a Centre and a Radius

A circle defined by specifying a centre point and a point on the circumference, which defines the length of the radius.

1. Select the Circle [centre + radius] command.

2. Click at the centre point (1) of the circle.

3. Press and hold the left mouse button.

4. Drag the pointer to expand the circle to the appropriate size.

5. Release the mouse button.

The circle is created.

Circle Using Three Points

A circle defined by three points on the circumference.

1. Select the Circle [3 points] command.

2. Click at the first two radius points (1 and 2) of the circle.

3. Press and hold the left mouse button for the third point (3).

4. Drag the pointer to expand the circle to an appropriate size.

5. To finish, release the mouse button.

The circle is created.

Circle Using a Two Point Diameter

A circle defined by specifying the diameter.

1. Select the Circle [2 point diameter] command.

2. Click the first point in the diameter.

3. Press and hold the left mouse button at a point (2).

4. Drag the pointer until the circle is the appropriate size.

5. Release the mouse button.

The circle is created.

Circle Using Two Points and a Radius

A circle specified by two points on the circumference and a third point defining the length of the radius.

1. Select the Circle [2 points + radius] command.

2. Click the first point.

3. Click the second point.

The two points are connected by a line.

Now add the third point, which defines the centre of the circle and therefore the length of the radius.

4. Press and hold the left mouse button.

5. Drag the pointer to expand the circle to the appropriate size.

6. Release the mouse button.

The circle is created.
