Apply masking to individual line features within a selection area.

Option | Description |

Buffer Size | The size of the buffer around masked features in the panel. |
Procedure
1. Select the Panel data layer in the Layers window.
2. Zoom to where masking is to be applied.
3. Select the Mask Lines Manually command.
4. Type a Buffer Size.
5. Click OK.
The cursor icon changes to digitizing mode(
).
6. Right-click and select Edit Line > digitizing mode from the pop-up menu.
7. Digitize around the feature where masking is to be applied.
8. To finish digitizing, press <End>.
9. Refresh the display to view masking.
The mask is created.
10. [Optional] Use the above methods to apply masking to other features.
11. To exit mask mode, press <Esc>.
