Create a group and place the selected layer or group in it.

Procedure
1. Right-click on a layer or group.
2. Select the Group command.
The new group is displayed with the name New Group. The original selected layer or group is placed inside the new group.
3. Edit the group name or press <Enter> to accept the default.
If necessary, the group can be renamed and other layers and groups dragged into it.
