The following TIFF compression methods are supported:
• CCITT FAX3
• CCITT FAX4
• CCITT RLE
• LZW
• PackBits
• Deflate
• Adobe Deflate.
If no method is defined, the default is Adobe Deflate.
Procedure
1. Select Tools > Options.
2. The Options dialog box is displayed.
3. In the list at left, click General and then scroll down at right to Export Monochrome Tiff Compression.
4. Click the browse button to open the Export Monochrome Tiff Compression dialog box.
5. Type the preferred compression method, and click OK.
The next time a sheet is exported as a TIFF, the preferred compression method is applied.
