User roles must be assigned to persons working with Publications Module. These roles are described in this table:

The Publication Manager, Publication Document Editor, Publication Record Editor and Publication Browser roles are exclusive to Publications Module. The three quality assurance roles are applicable to all of HPD.
Roles can be combined. For example, a person who creates and modifies notices, creates publications and also verifies work would need the following roles:
• Publication Record Editor
• Publication Document Editor
• Quality Assurance
A person who can create notices and verify those same notices would need the following roles:
• Publication Record Editor
• Quality Assurance (Self Check)
To create or edit a catalogue, the Publication Catalogue Editor role and either Publication Document Editor or Publication Record Editor roles are required. |
