Dictionary Editor creates objects and attribute for HPD dictionaries. The application can also be modify existing objects and attributes.

Do not modify dictionaries other than hpdObjects as these are internal HPD dictionaries. Consult CARIS before making changes to internal dictionaries.

Procedure

1. Select the Dictionary Editor command.

The Dictionary Editor is displayed.

The Select Editor View list shows dictionaries currently in HPD and the associated features and attributes.

1. To view the dictionaries, select Dictionary from the Select Editor View list.

When a dictionary is selected, it is shown in the Name field in the General tab on the right side of Dictionary Editor. Dictionary names cannot be modified.
