Close gaps between two lines by adding a short connecting line, snapped to and intersected with the existing lines. The connecting line is not merged with the two lines it connects.
The connecting line is given a new feature object ID and the acronym and attributes from the superselected line.
You can connect any vertex on one line to any vertex on the other. If the selected vertex is not the start or end point of the line, the line will be split into two edges at the connected vertex.
For complete information about creating new features, see Create Features.
